Facebook Bottomed?

Bernstein came out with a downgrade on shares of Facebook last night after the market closed.  The stock reacted swiftly in the after hours market as it was trading down to about 27.50.  As a Contrarian, I believe that the Analyst just put in a near term bottom. See the chart below:

  1. Jim Cramer had an interesting take on the new "Four Horseman" stocks, he called them FANG.. Facebook, Amazon, Netflix, and Google. Saying all of them were buys if we stay in this bull market. He saw $FB going to $45. Often he's wrong and this could be this kiss of death for Facebook, but I hope not. Maybe insiders that have got in low are still cashing out. Might take it some time to start up again.

  2. I AGREE with him!!! I've thought about adding NFLX. I like the Streaming TV shows. At this rate Amazon's video is no where close.

  3. Buy $SD also?

Leon Cooperman, Chief Executive Officer of hedge fund Omega Advisors, sold his stake in Apple Inc and took new stakes in SandRidge Energy Inc and Facebook Inc in the fourth quarter, a regulatory filing showed on Wednesday.

Cooperman, whose hedge fund had $7 billion in assets as of last November, sold his entire stake of 266,404 shares in tech giant Apple, the Securities and Exchange Commission filing showed.

Cooperman's fund also took a new stake in SandRidge Energy Inc of 24.38 million shares, and a new stake of 3.16 million shares in Facebook Inc in the fourth quarter. The fund increased its stake in McMoRan Exploration Co by about 1.8 million shares.

    1. I don't know anything about $SD. It's been at 5 bucks for 4 years though. stock is sitting at lows. It was nice to see the $FB bounce on Cooperman today for sure. I also like how he sold $AAPL. I want to short it, but waiting for a dividend boost bounce.
